How to Build a Website From Your Phone (No Code, 2026)
You don’t need a computer, a designer or a single line of code to have a real website online. With the Owlvo app you can design, preview and publish a complete website straight from your phone — usually in under an hour.
Why build a website on your phone?
Most people already run their lives from their phone. A phone-first website builder means you can set up your business online in the same place you answer messages and post to social media — no waiting until you’re at a desk. Owlvo is a no-code app built exactly for this: you tap to add content, and it turns into a professional website.
What you’ll need
- The free Owlvo app (iOS or Android).
- Your business name and a few photos.
- About 30–60 minutes.
Step 1 — Create your free account
Open Owlvo and sign up with your email, or tap Continue with Google. Registration is free and you can build up to five websites before you ever need a paid plan.
Step 2 — Start a new site
Tap New site. Begin from a blank page or pick a ready-made template and search by sector (for example “hairdresser” or “insurance”). Give the site a name and you’ll get a free web address instantly.
Step 3 — Add sections
A website in Owlvo is built from sections — ready-made content blocks. Tap Add section and choose from a big library: a hero banner, services, gallery, pricing, FAQ, reviews, a contact form, opening hours, a map and more. You see a live sample before you add it, then replace the sample text with your own.
Step 4 — Make it yours
Every section has several styles (layouts) and its own appearance settings — alignment, spacing, width, font size, corners, shadow and colours. Set your brand palette and logo once under Theme & Colours and Logo & Branding and the whole site follows.
Step 5 — Preview, then publish
Use Preview to check your site on phone, tablet and desktop. When it looks right, open Publish and tap the button — your site goes live at its web address. You get a shareable link and a QR code your customers can scan.
That’s it. Later you can connect your own domain and even add more languages. For a full walkthrough of every feature, see the Owlvo user guide.
